Lauren Young is a Managing Director of Advent International Corporation, one of the largest global private equity investors, where she is focused on investments in the technology sector. Prior to Advent, Lauren worked at The Carlyle Group where she was a member of the US buyout fund and focused on investing in software and financial technology companies. Previously, Lauren was an analyst at McColl Partners, a middle-market investment banking firm. She also has worked on the investments in Allied S.A. and Tekion. Lauren also currently serves on the Board of Directors of Definitive Healthcare, Forescout and P2 Energy. She has a bachelor’s degree from Davidson College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
